Our Week

This week was a busy week all around. We all had a stomach virus. I also would like to send out an apologize to our family in Dallas for getting everyone sick. I hope you all are feeling better.

Thursday we went to see the Longview Christmas parade and froze. It was so cold. We did prepare a little better this year. We took chairs, Hot coco, and lots of blankets.

Good Find Friday - What to get a 1 year old

Tomorrow we celebrate Karsee's first Birthday. With a little guy that has inherited toys and cloths it was hard to come up with some idea's.





BACKPACK - For Kaden's first birthday I got him a backpack with his name on it and we have used it and used it. So I had to get one for Karson too. I am also excited to scale down to just a backpack from our big baby bag.









Little People Nativity Scene - This is a cute little set that is a decoration for Christmas and is tough enough that I don't have to worry about it breaking. I think it will stay out the whole year and go with our other little people sets.






Parents Cell Phone - Because Karson is always wanting my cell phone. This is a cute little toy that looks like a real cell phone and records a message that you can listen to. I found this at Target.

Wednesday- Preschool Book Review

It's Christmas time and for someone who is always looking for new reading material for my little book lovers this was a great find at a unbeatable price. $1.00 from Scholastic. Kaden has been asking me to read this even before Thanksgiving.

Read this funny book about taking a busy little mouse to the movies, he'll ask you for some popcorn. If you give him the popcorn, he'll want to string it all together. Then he'll want to hang it on a Christmas tree. He jumps from one activity to another till he and his owner end up back at the movies. It is a very cute and funny read.

We love Christmas Movies. We really only own Christmas movies. So starting this week once a week we will have movie night.

What does this mean. We are all sick. I got up and got ready for Church this morning and actually went and then realized we were not feeling as well as I thought. I made sure the nursery was covered and then headed home. Karsee has been sick since last Monday thankfully I got him home in time this morning before the sickness started up again.

Good Find Friday - Shampoo Rinse Cup

This is a item I use every bath time with the boy. It has been worth every penny of the 5.00 I paid for it. The design keeps the water out of the eyes and actually rinses better and faster than a regular cup. Easy cleaning just throw it in the dishwasher to keep out the mold and it is ready to go for the next bath time. You can even find this at Walmart and Target now.

Happy Thanksgiving

It has been a great Thanksgiving and there is so much to be thankful for.We have had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day with Grannie and Papa and the Cubbage family. Grannie cooked a great meal as always she is a great cook. After we started eating we all went around the table and talked about what we are thankful for.
