This is a book Karsee got for Christmas from his Aunt Appy and Uncle Thomas. This is a good book for a 1 year old. It is a great way to teach your baby about the baby animals around them with realistic pictures. With the touch and feel design your baby will love to touch the puppies soft ears or a turtles shell. New Years Week - Traditions

We have a few as a family.

- Use Gift Cards
- Shop for Christmas Decorations when everything is 50% off.
- Eat at Roadhouse
- Eat some good food for New Years Eve Night.
This years menu includes: Wing Stop Wings and Meaty Cheese Dip.
- Watch a New Years Count Down.

What do you do?

On our way home yesterday while driving accross a bridge we could see the rain in the distance. It was a sight. I snapped a picture to try to capture it while the car was going and it actually was good.

Lego's

Kaden has a new love. On Christmas day Kaden played with Lego's for hours with his cousins. We went to Walmart tonight and picked him up a set with his Christmas money.

The Gaylord Texan

I never get tired of going to the Gaylord around Christmas. We actually went twice this year.

Merry Christmas

We spent Christmas at Pawpaw and Grannies house.

Justus and Kaden were really excited.

Christmas Eve

We went to my Dad's and then to my Pawpaw and Nannies house for Christmas Eve.

This excited look was on his face for more than an hour.

We enjoyed our time with Parents, Grandparents, and cousins. We also had our annual Elam tissue and wrapping paper fight.

Wednesday - Preschool Book Review

It is very important to me to teach my kids the true meaning of Christmas. Here are a few that I read to the boys. You can never start to early.

This is one Karsee picked out at Grannies book fair.

When he saw it he held on to it for the rest of the time we were there.

He also made sure he got it by chewing on it.

This cute little book cover plays the tune Silent Night and lights up.

It is a simple way to tell the true meaning of Christmas to little ears.

This is a book with good illustrations and is the animals view of the first Christmas.

With illustrations by Thomas Kinkade and the words of Away in a Manger.
It is a great book about the story of why we celebrate Christmas.

Traditions - Picture Ornaments

I have been wanting to start a tradition since Kaden's first Christmas. I have a great picture from each year of my boys to make an ornament, but had not actually put them together till this year.
