Good Find - EarCheck

I know I have taken some Fridays off. I guess I needed a spring break. This find is so good it could not waite until friday.

My Mom and I spoke right before our trip and she said Walmart had marked these down over 50% off and that it looked like a thermometer but scanned for Ear infections.

I was sceptical and thought I have never heard of anything like this.

Before I even left for Dallas Karson was showing signs but then I discovered he was getting some teeth and he was sleeping through the night and not running any fever. As soon as I got into town my Mom and I headed to Walmart to check it out.

It took about a day to get familiar with it and how to accurately use it but now I have it down.

The past few day Karsons readings have been fluid unlikely and then yesterday I got a monitor and then tonight Consult Doctor.

Since yesterday Karson has shown more signs of an ear infection with a fever, runny nose, and cough as well. Looks like we will be seeing the doctor. Last Saturday was the 4 week mark since his last ear infection.

Trip Update

We are enjoying our trip in Dallas. We have visited almost everybody except Grannie and Papa but we are looking forward to having dinner with them tonight. Kaden has had a blast playing with his cousins he will have a hard time leaving them. Kaden and his cousin Kevin have been buddies and have not left each others side easily they are 12 days shy of being exactly a year apart. Kaden and Kevin had a sleep over last night and then he will get to have lunch with all his cousins on my side today at Mcdonalds For Lunch. I have been taking more pictures and have some blogs brewing even something that could be the best good find friday ever. Karsee is a little under the weather he is cutting 2 molars and 4 other teeth at once I have counted almost 5 teeth this week. That has to be a world record or something. He is tough little guy it looks painful. He has some major drainage and some signs of a ear infection but I am keeping it monitored closely. My Sister-in-law and myself had to take him for a drive last night.

My sickness cold stuff is almost gone I am feeling the best I have in a month it seems my cold and horrible cough up a lung cough was just allergies.

We will be heading home tomorrow after lunch and maybe stoping by Tanger Outlet Mall for some shoping in Terrell.

Wednesday my Nanny watched the boys while I took lunch and some snacks to a friend who's baby is at Childrens Hospital. I have never visited someone at a Childrens Hospital before. While walking down the hall and seeing room after room after room full with sick children as I passed I started thinking why do kids get sick or struggle health wise. Inside I just thought why God? I know the answer and trust in God but at that moment it was hard to see. It was real to me what goes on while I live my dailey life. I do not doubt or blame God He is in control. As I sat and held my friends baby as she ate lunch I just prayed over him. I also realized I am not thankful enough for my boys and how I selfishly take thier health forgranted. How I just went through a pretty normal pregnancy with some sickness and stuff but still pretty normal pregnancy and then had two csections that went successful and after a day or two got to take my big healthy babies home and besides ear infections and two minor surgeries not having to be in a hospital somewhere with my child looking at them with tubes and attached to medical equipment for days.

I choose to change living my day to day life not thinking about this anymore. I have already started the process to research small ways I can help in my own way.

I have been struggling lately with my limits of minstry and help with outreach. I love being a Mom but I also love helping in outreaches and events. On my drive to Dallas and around Dallas the past few days I have been able to work through these feelings. It would be too long of a post. I just think God is doing something in my life right now just like He is moving and changing lives in our church. I am happy my eyes are opened even more today.

Egg Hunt Video

I know I have blogged about the Egg Hunt already but this Video is awesome. The video brought tears to my eyes when I saw all the people giving their hearts to Jesus.

Cheesey Face

Karson has been cracking me up the past few days. When I get out the camera or tell him to say cheese he makes this face.

Goodie Bags or I guess cups.

I hate the pressure I feel when I sign up to do something like this. Tomorrow is Kaden's Easter party at school. A few weeks ago I was feeling adventurous and sighned up to do goodie bags for his class of 15. I like to be creative and want to do something that gets some oohs and aahs but never do.

I just settled and bought these cups and some cute spring stuff from Dollar Tree. It starts to add up. With all the allergies like wheat, diary, and peanuts its hard to find snacks so I went with Candy.

Maybe next time I can do something better and Martha Stuart like but for this week I went with easy.

Easter Sunday

Right before we left for church it started pouring lightening, thunder and all.

It was a nice Easter Sunday. I steped into the service for a second and it was awesome. I am sad I missed it.

After Church we headed to our favorite hole in the wall restuarant Teles to eat a Easter lunch of Fajitas.

I have missed Tim this week. He has been absent working on everything for this weekend. It was worth every bit to see what God did this weekend. I am happy to have him back and so are the boys.

We all enjoyed a good nap this afternoon. We had to wake the boys up to eat dinner and Karson went down to bed tonight the first time. So it is looking like we will not have to see our doctor this week. Which is a good thing.

T was the night before Easter...

T was the night before Easter.

And all through our house.

Tim is editing a video and Karsee was stirring and didn't sound like a mouse.

It was the third time I put him to bed for the night and he finally went to bed after he put up a good fight.

When what to my wondering eyes should appear was Karsee asleep on his deer.

(Not really it was his dog it just sounded better to say deer.)

Pulling at his ears, runny nose, and not sleeping. I pray it's another tooth not another ear thingy.

There Easter outfits need to be ironed and baskets are all filled. There are nursery things to be finished and dishes to do.

I heard Kaden in bed more awake than asleep. I thought he will be grumpy and tired tomorrow if he doesn't go to sleep.

Making up his own words to twinkle twinkle little star it was cute and finally he drifted to sleep.

I've got nothing else and it's time to get ready to go to a hopefully coughless sleep.

Have a happy Easter tomorrow and get some sleep.

I know this was cheesy maybe I am just delirious from today.

Sometimes Saturday nights especially before big Sunday's do not all go as scheduled or planned. I just thought I would share.
ONE LAST FUNNY STORY...
I told Kaden earlier that when he woke up tomorrow his basket would be full with some surprises. He then asked me who fills it and I told him Mommy and Daddy had some surprises to fill it up and he would find it as soon as he woke up.
He then asked if the Easter Bunny fills it up. I told him that Mommy and Daddy got him some surprises. He will tell you he likes the Easter Bunny but he knows it's someone in a costume.
He then looked at me with his thinking serious face and said "Well if that bunny decides to come over here I do not want him to come in our house. I will leave my basket outside if he wants to fill it up".

Egg Hunt

This morning was awesome our bottom floor was full and I looked up and the balcony as well.

Over a thousand people in attendance.

30'000 eggs.

Over 90 people gave their hearts to the lord.

All the dots in the grass are eggs.

The helicopter drop.
Karson's first egg hunt.

Kaden was mad he could not find any red eggs I told him to start hunting or he would go home with an empty basket. He filled up his basket in minutes after that.

Karson sat so well in the grass with us and ate his hot dog.

Kaden loved the Easter bunny he gave him fives and hugs. I tried to get both boys but Karson was too excited about the bunny coming to say hi he would not sit still. Kaden has come out of his shell even more lately he played and played in all the jump houses and said hi to all his friends. He was really excited to see his teacher and her family there too.

Picture of the day. I cannot take credit for it. A student took this that was helping in the jump house. She offered and I love it.
