Out Of Town

In Dallas having a good time with the boys. Kaden hasn't been feeling well today he has not been himself. We are leaving for San Antonio on Thursday. So excited!

Our 4th

We started celebrating the 4th last night. We went to the Longview Firework show.

When I cut the watermelon today it was yellow. I bought a yellow seedless watermelon. It was good but it looks like a pineapple but tastes like watermelon.

We ended the afternoon with Karsons first time in the pool and 4th of July cookies.

I have to go to bed. I am leaving at 8:00am to have breakfast with my Dad in Canton and heading home to pack. I leave Sunday with the boys to Dallas for the week.

The Doctor

Everything went well at the Ears, Nose and Throat doctor today. Kaden's tubes are still in so we will have to continue the check ups. We had to get new ear plugs fitted today. He has to continue wearing them before baths and swimming. We were hoping we would not have to do that anymore. Today during the visit I realized how big my boy is getting. I told Kaden ahead of time the doctor would just be checking his ears. When we went in he sat in the chair all by himself. He answered some questions and just acted so big.

I just sat back and watched him. I am so proud of him.

No matter how big he gets he will always be my Bubby.

Doctors Visit for Karson $65.00. To know he is ok = Priceless

I got Karson into the doctor this morning to see why he is not sleeping or eating and pulling and holding his ear. The reason I go to the doctor to check for ear infections is because Kaden had at least 15 ear infections from age 0-3 years old when he had his tubes put in. So I hope the doctor understands my rush to make sure Karson is ok. Karson did have one ear infection I think around 3 months but has been clear since including today. He is fine and the doctor thinks he is teething.

I leave for Dallas tomorrow to pick up my brother. He will be visiting for a week and he is bringing rock band.. Excited

The Doctor

Tomorrow morning we are heading to the doctors office. Karson is being checked for an ear infection and Kaden is having his tubes checked. Fun Fun Fun. Wednesday I have another dentist appointment and then heading to Dallas till Saturday.

Sleep.... I Need Sleep

I stayed up a little late to finish some stuff for the Nursery and at 12am Karsee woke up. I got him back to sleep at 2am. I was getting ready to get in bed and he woke up again. I think it is time to go to the doctor to see if its teething or his ears. It is now 5am and I just got him back to bed. So time for a shower and to get ready to go. Coffee will be my friend today.

So I don't think I am doing very well. I have eaten less and given up soda's. Well I had a soda this week. On Thursday we went to eat and Tim got everything for me while I took care of the boys and he brought me a soda and I didn't want to be rude so I drank it. But really that was my first in weeks and I feel bad about it. The other thing is I went and weighed myself on a different scale this week and I am five punds heavier on that scale. Whats up with that? So I don't know which one to go by. I am going to wiegh myself again this week and whatever it says I will believe. I don't think I had a 5 pound weight gain in a week.

It's going to be better day

I got in bed at 11pm which was my goal yesterday. The good things is Karson is sleeping again. Last night he slept well. I think I found the problem. He likes it almost dark in his room and he will go right to sleep. It's funny when you think you got your kids likes and dislikes down they change it up on you. Yesterday I bought an excersuacer for Karson he loves the one at Church and it folds flat so we can take it with us on trips.

Father's Day

Father's Day started off a little rough. Karson was up most of the night. I woud get him to sleep lay him down and he would either wake up and cry or wake up and smile. Gotta love the teething stage. I remember the sleepless nights with Kaden too. At around 3am Tim relieved me and rocked Karson and put him to sleep for me so I could get some sleep. Got up at 6am but needed to wake up 30 min. earlier. Thankfully I made it to church in time. Sunday morning was good. The kids made handprints and they turned out to be so cute. We had a special lunch for Tim at Roadhouse. Tim is a wonderful Father and gives so much for our family.

My Baby Wont Sleep

Today Karson has not wanted to sleep. Since about 6pm or 7pm I have put him to sleep 4 times and 30 minutes later he wakes up. He is in the swing right now with all the lights out and I hear him playing. This is the grumpy face I have been seeing tonight because he is so tired. He is still so cute. Don't you just want to squeeze those cheeks.
