The Doctor

Everything went well at the Ears, Nose and Throat doctor today. Kaden's tubes are still in so we will have to continue the check ups. We had to get new ear plugs fitted today. He has to continue wearing them before baths and swimming. We were hoping we would not have to do that anymore. Today during the visit I realized how big my boy is getting. I told Kaden ahead of time the doctor would just be checking his ears. When we went in he sat in the chair all by himself. He answered some questions and just acted so big.

I just sat back and watched him. I am so proud of him.

No matter how big he gets he will always be my Bubby.

Pricless

Doctors Visit for Karson $65.00. To know he is ok = Priceless

I got Karson into the doctor this morning to see why he is not sleeping or eating and pulling and holding his ear. The reason I go to the doctor to check for ear infections is because Kaden had at least 15 ear infections from age 0-3 years old when he had his tubes put in. So I hope the doctor understands my rush to make sure Karson is ok. Karson did have one ear infection I think around 3 months but has been clear since including today. He is fine and the doctor thinks he is teething.

I leave for Dallas tomorrow to pick up my brother. He will be visiting for a week and he is bringing rock band.. Excited

Sleep.... I Need Sleep

I stayed up a little late to finish some stuff for the Nursery and at 12am Karsee woke up. I got him back to sleep at 2am. I was getting ready to get in bed and he woke up again. I think it is time to go to the doctor to see if its teething or his ears. It is now 5am and I just got him back to bed. So time for a shower and to get ready to go. Coffee will be my friend today.

Ragamuffintop Challenge --->>> 5

So I don't think I am doing very well. I have eaten less and given up soda's. Well I had a soda this week. On Thursday we went to eat and Tim got everything for me while I took care of the boys and he brought me a soda and I didn't want to be rude so I drank it. But really that was my first in weeks and I feel bad about it. The other thing is I went and weighed myself on a different scale this week and I am five punds heavier on that scale. Whats up with that? So I don't know which one to go by. I am going to wiegh myself again this week and whatever it says I will believe. I don't think I had a 5 pound weight gain in a week.

It's going to be better day

I got in bed at 11pm which was my goal yesterday. The good things is Karson is sleeping again. Last night he slept well. I think I found the problem. He likes it almost dark in his room and he will go right to sleep. It's funny when you think you got your kids likes and dislikes down they change it up on you. Yesterday I bought an excersuacer for Karson he loves the one at Church and it folds flat so we can take it with us on trips.

Father's Day

Father's Day started off a little rough. Karson was up most of the night. I woud get him to sleep lay him down and he would either wake up and cry or wake up and smile. Gotta love the teething stage. I remember the sleepless nights with Kaden too. At around 3am Tim relieved me and rocked Karson and put him to sleep for me so I could get some sleep. Got up at 6am but needed to wake up 30 min. earlier. Thankfully I made it to church in time. Sunday morning was good. The kids made handprints and they turned out to be so cute. We had a special lunch for Tim at Roadhouse. Tim is a wonderful Father and gives so much for our family.

Happy Father's Day Tim. I Love You !

My Baby Wont Sleep

Today Karson has not wanted to sleep. Since about 6pm or 7pm I have put him to sleep 4 times and 30 minutes later he wakes up. He is in the swing right now with all the lights out and I hear him playing. This is the grumpy face I have been seeing tonight because he is so tired. He is still so cute. Don't you just want to squeeze those cheeks.

At DC

We are at District Council this week. The boys have handled everything well except naptime. Kaden and Karson both take good naps. I just put them in there beds and they go to sleep, but this week it has taken me an hour everyday to get them asleep. We go home tomorrow.

Our Sunday

My Sunday started great. I woke up on time and got ready for Church. The boys woke up in a good mood and we even left the house in time. Sunday morning went Ok. When I left Church I had my hands full so Tim said he would bring my bags home and be home soon. I remembered I was almost out of gas when I started driving home but remembered I left everything with Tim and decided to try to make it home. So while I was rushing home and right down the street from the house I ran out of gas at a red light in a busy intersection. Thankfully I wasn't in the middle of the road just at the light. Being 93 degrees outside and the boys and I in our Sunday cloths it was getting hot fast. I reached down to get my cell phone to call Tim. No cell phone. Thats when I started to worry. The other problem is that Tim takes a diferent way home than I do and had not left Church yet. So I turned on my hazzardous lights and tried to flag down anyone who looked like they would not harm us. Finally after 5-10 min. everything seems longer when your worried a nice lady stoped and let me use her cell phone. I called Tim which is the only number besides my home number I know. Everything is programmed in my cell phone so I dont have to memorize numbers. No answer from Tim because his ringer is still silent from service. I left him a panicked message. The lady then had to drive off because people were honking at her. So I was stranded for another 5-10 minutes alone till I saw a police officer coming down the road. I have never been so happy to have a police car pull up behind me and stop. The officer asked me a few questions and let me use his cell phone and still no answer from Tim and then asked me if I had anyone else to call. I finally found Tims bussiness card and called the Church. Still no answer. The officer then said I had to get a hold of someone or he was calling a tow truck. I asked to call one more time and Tim answered and said he was on his way. The officer then told me I had to get the boys out of the car because it was too hot for them so he got Kaden out of the car and I got Karson. Kaden loved the experience of seeing a police car up closeand personal. Tim then showed up and the officer said we had 5 min. to get gas in the car or he was calling a tow truck.. Which was qouted at almost 200.00. Thankfully we made it in time. Got home, loaded the car and headed 2 hours to my cousins wedding. Needless to say when we finally made it to the hotel and settled down we all crashed, well the parents did but the boys took a little longer.

I also want to include that I have only run out of gas one other time when I was 18.

Ragamuffin Top

Yesterday I made it to Target and did my weigh in. I didn't like what I saw but it wasn't as bad as I expected. I have a weightloss goal of 10 pounds and most of that just needs to be toned up after two kids ( I had 8 pounders). I do have to admit I cheated and had 1 Coke zero.

Thanks to Carlos, I'm up for the challenge. IT'S ON!

Six Months Old

I can't believe our little Karsee is already 6 months. It seems like he is growing up faster than Kaden did.

Update - Ragamuffintop Challenge

I went to wiegh myself and remembered my scale no longer works. So I went to Target to do a weigh in and forgot to weigh myself. Tomorrow I will get that done.

My friend Meredith was thinking of me tonight and brought me a Coke zero to church.

So tomorrow I will get that wiegh in and make my bigger goal as well.

My Weight Loss Goal

My goal this week is 1 pound. I know this doesn't seem like much but I am joining in the middle of the week. My other goal is not to drink any soft drinks.

My Boys

I am blessed with two wonderful boys. I caught this today. Kaden was entertaining Karson with a pupet.

Emergency - Almost

I am electronically challenged lately

Friday my ipod stoped playing and our resident Electronic- Computer Tech (Tim) fixed it.

Saturday I was vacuuming and my vacuum cleaner broke.

Yesterday morning I turned my Chi on and when I came back in to fix my hair it smelled like something was burning. I fixed my hair and the Chi felt very hot. When I was almost finished smoke started coming out of all the holes in the Chi. I tried to turn it off first and the switch melted into the iron so I just pulled it out of the wall and threw it in the sink.

I use my Chi almost everyday and I am missing it today. I am going to call the company today. I think they have a lifetime warranty.

The Dedication

Our little Karsee was dedicated this morning. He did so well and actually stayed in the whole service.

After the service we had lunch at the church for family and friends.

My Mother-in-law made Lasagna. It was wonderful. She did so much and set up everything with my Sister-in-law Julie. I didn't have to worry about much and we have left overs for a few days.

My Nanny made a beautiful cake for Karsee.

It turned out to be a great day.
