Our Weekend

Mike, Julie, and Kaylin came in town for a visit this weekend. Julie and I took the kids to Kmart on Saturday while Tim and Mike played a round of golf. We met for dinner at Applbee's.

Last night Kaden had his last camp out with cousins for a while. Kaden said goodbye to Camryn and Kaylin today.

Today my Cousin Christy and my Sister-in-law Katherine came to visit for the day. We had a wonderful lunch at Posados and spent the afternoon together.

Kaden wanted to take a nap on the air mattresses before we put them away.

I am a little tired Karson had a hard time this afternoon. Both my boys are not feeling well.

I will post the nap mat pattern next Tuesday for all who are looking for it. Kaden's nap mat is almost done.

Friday

Today we didn't do much. Around lunch time we got out of the house and went to Target to get a few things we were out of. I did find some nice jeans for Kaden and matching shirts for Kaden and Karson that were on sale.

After dinner we watched the Opening Ceremonies of the Olympics.

Thursday

Today we spent the morning and first part of the afternoon taking it easy. No plans except naps for both boys. But this afternoon I planned on going to the Repeats are Neat sale I go to twice a year. If you are in the Longview area check out their site repeatsareneat.com.





It worked out great Tim got home early today so I took Camryn and Kaden with me and Karson stayed home and took a nap. I found some things for the boys to wear this winter and Camryn and Kaden found some things too.

8 Months

Karson is 8 months old today.

Wed With Camryn

Today we went to The Mud Hut.

Karson really wanted to get into the paint.

We get to pick up our pieces next week after they fire them.

Tuesday With Camryn and Katie

This may be a long post.

Today seemed the fullest so far. We met Katie for lunch at Chickfila.

After lunch we went to Kidstation.

I know this is not the best picture but I am so proud of Kaden. He faced his fear and climbed up to the top to be with Camryn and Katie.

Katie won 7 to 0.

They look so tired.

After dinner we played a game called Encore. The players pick a card with a word or a category and have to sing a song with it or about it. I have learned two things playing this game tonight.

- The 50 plus Wiggles songs I know can be sung to almost every card.

- When you are playing a game against two people born in the late 90's do not sing a N'Sync song because you will get a blank look and loose a turn.

It was fun and we didn't want to stop but it was movie time.

Tim was so nice and rushed to rent a movie so we could have a movie night tonight. He also cleaned up dinner so I could get Karsee which is worn out from all the activities to bed. I am married to a great guy.

Monday With Camryn

Today was fun. We got out of the house around lunch time and went to Wendy's for lunch.

This afternoon we went to play Lunar Mini Golf.

Here are a couple of video's of one of our favorite holes of the day. I do not own a Mac so I had to post two videos.

After 36 holes we were ready to head home.

Sunday With Camryn

This morning was good but the final count was 29 in the Nursery that is a record number and yes it was a little crazy.

Karson's got his first tooth. I tried to get a picture of it.

Kaden is so excited.

After dinner we watched the new Hannah Montana episode and played Candy Land and Chutes and Ladders. (I need to apologize to Camryn for not having any games for a 9 year old).

We have some plans tomorrow to play some Lunar Golf or Kids Station.

Sunday

I am excited about tomorrow. I purchased a few new things for the nursery. I am going to get there early and set it up. This week I only have a few more things to purchase and I will be done for a while.

We also pick up my Niece Camryn tomorrow for the week. I have some fun stuff planned for her visit.
