Karsee Crockett

For Tim's Birthday we went to the Boardwalk in Shreveport LA to eat and then took the boys to the Bass Pro Shop. I put this hat on Karsee and he walked around with a big smile entertaining us and anybody that happened to walk by.

The Grocery Game

I have decided to get our grocery budget under control. With the rising cost of food I am going to take on this challenge. It has been some work but it has already paid off.

A few tips...

- I am buying more generic. Only certain generics not all are the way to go. I also have brand loyalty to certain brands.

- I follow a few blogs that have taught me a few tricks to this game.

- I buy the Dallas paper because it has better coupons in it.


This week I saved close to 50.00 on my grocery bill.

Gladiation

I named this post gladiation because it is what Kaden has been excited about for days and that is also the way he says graduation . Kaden graduated from pre-k yesterday.

The class did a presentation for the parents.

Something happened to my camera as Kaden recieved his diploma. So when I ever get around to my boys scrapbooks this is what I have.

Prep work for the big day.

Some days as a Mom you clean up a mess and then kiss a booboo and then make a bed and then have to judge who took the toy from who or who started it and then pick up a toy you just stepped on and then do bath time and end up soaked more than the kids you were bathing and then put tired kiddos to bed.





AND THEN there are the other days when you wake up and make birthday cards for Daddy because we love him so much.

AND THEN make a video singing happy birthday.

AND THEN make a special trip to the store to buy a brownie mix and icecream for Daddy.

AND THEN cut many strips of paper to make chains because Kaden has cool ideas like that.

AND THEN cook dinner while the boys are quietly playing together and SHARING.

Monday was such a nice day the boys and I shared together I loved having so many little helping hands to make a Birthday special for Tim.

Today is Tim's birthday... Tim is a wonderful husband and father... A man of God... A person with so much God given vision... He makes things fun and makes me laugh... Someone who lets God use him... He has wisdom beyond his years... I love his heart... He is the fun parent.... I love how our home feels when he is in it... I love you Tim I hope you have a wonderful Birthday!

Even though Kaden's Pre-K graduation is today the boys and I have plans to make this day special for him...

Karson wants to be a Bobcat.

The other day at Kadens game I took Karson over to an empty field and he kicked the ball all around. During the last game I finally remembered to bring him his own ball.

7 Years

7 years ago today was my wedding day. I remember spending weeks and weeks planning and only thinking about that day. I remember the first time Tim and I walked through the place we would have our wedding. I remember waking up at 6am that morning and it was storming not a good sign for a outside wedding but it ended up being a nice spring evening. It was a beautiful wedding and just like I imagined it. Before I knew it it was over and now is a beautiful distant memory. Our first year was an experience and so was our first place (another blog post in itself). I look at where we are now and how God has blessed us. I can say these seven years have shaped me into who I am today. I love you Tim and even though this day can be lost in the shuffle and business of our life I am so happy I have been blessed to spend 7 years married to you.

Soccer Day

Today was Kaden's last soccer game of the season. His team won. I was with Karson walking around during the game but got to watch from afar.

Kaden was benched today for a little bit and Karson went over and sat by him.

Kaden was presented with a trophy by his coach.

My cousin Christy that just got married on Wednesday told me about this place and actually honeymooned here. After the wedding we took the family there to walk around before lunch. It is a pretty place and also very windy that day.

As you can see there is never a dull moment. I love my family.

Rangers Game

We also got to go to a Rangers Game. My wonderful Mother-in-law watch the Karson for me. Thank you so much for doing that. This was Kaden's first Ranger game. He talked about it all day. His only request was a foam finger. As we walked in I think his mouth was open in amazement. He watched and watched and looked for the mascot so he could give him a high five. It was an awesome game. I honestly did not think Kaden would make it through the game but when I tried to take him to the kids area to play he got mad and insisted we go back to our seats because he was going to miss something. Kaden is growing up so fast and I am so glad I got to experience it with him. I could tell he enjoyed one on one time with Mommy and Daddy.
