The Fair

Today we are going to the State Fair of Texas.

Kaden is very excited about it. He told everyone last night in his class that he was seeing the biggest cowboy in the whole wide world.

So glad to have you guys here! I got the pleasure of keeping the two little gabbard boys while Tim and Amy went on a 'date'. It was delightful-seeing little Karsen playing...reminds me so of Tim. He entertained himself mainly with non toy items....little baskets-tins I have sitting around.. THE NEWSPAPER he loves the crinkly noisiness. Kaden and I 'played two games'-a Nascar Race game and Candy Land...and Kaden talked and talked and talked...every move was discussed and why it was made-and what would hapen next and whew...I don't think he has ever opened upand talked that much!! Anyway 8:30 was Karsey's bedtime. He went right down and me and Kaden had waited to watch a Bob the Builder video. Yours truly fell asleep-scuh exciting stuff I guess and then KADEN WANTED more videos (sorry dind't have any). So he agreed to go to his bed-if I would 'hold his hand' until he fell asleep (think I fell asleep again first) Anyway Glen came by the room and now is was time for me to really go to sleep-But by then had the wideawakes... Anyway so good to have little ones in the house and around...so soon they will be up and gone. But ahhhh these are the days...

We really enjoyed our visit. Kaden always enjoys spending time with Grannie.
